Walking distance from the ICC Centre. Yvone and other reception staff were friendly, so were the maintenance person and the porters. Good flat screen TV in the room.
Dreadful and depressing place to stay: cockroaches in the bedroom and the bathroom, smelly rooms, very old hotel straight from the 60's, overwelming youth crowd near the hotel entrance in the evening because of the near bars/discos, broken glasses on the pavement in the morning, etc . . .
It was conveniently located to walk to icc
Very badly mantained bulding, dirty lobby and carpets, unprofessional fo staff
The Lindt chocolate on my pillow.
The parking is down a very scary alley - not nice to walk there at night. All other parking is on the street - bad area.
I liked the fact that it was central, close to workshop and transport services. I enjoyed the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. It was good value for money!
At night the surrounding areas tend to get a bit rowdy -
Location - in the city centre
The elevators are very old. They take between 5-10 minutes to come to 7th floor. Hotel staff is very unfriendly and bothering to some unprofessionalism. I dont think I will recommend anybody to use that hotel.
Nothing. the are tarven next to the hotel so its noise at night, the staff was not friendly.actually i will never book in that hotel again.
The receptionist was so unfreindly the location of the parking is horrific if you come back after dark , sorry but I will never use this hotel again
I liked the food
The room I was given was a mess and was not done, plus the cupboards where away from the wall. The front desk seemed to not know that the room was not for use. They finally gave me another room.
This hotel is located right in the centre of the CBD and is not a suitable place for tourists to stay.
The hospitality, staff were very friendly and the rooms were specious and had a wonderful time with my family would definately go back again
The rooms were not cleaned properly on a daily base had to write a note to who ever cleans my room
The staff were very helpful and courteous and the room was clean and comfortable.
The only point of concern was having to park in the parkade down the one way street. The street beyond the hotel was dirty and one did not feel safe when returning to the hotel late at night. There was also the smell of urine outside one of the night clubs.
Not the best hotel I've ever been in . This experience was more like a roadside motel.
Had to ask for things, Bathroom very crammy. Tv didnt work on few stations. Had to ask for condiments e.g. miilk, sugar for tea & coffe in room. We were 3 people, only got 2 milk each time-just enough for 1 person/cup. Had to ask for toilet paper etc...
It was well placed for Centrl Durban
I liked the view of the city as well as the sea. it is really value for money
Did not like the tavern downstairs it was an eyesore the noise went on till early hours of the morning
nothing, would not stay here ever again...
poor quality, staff not friendly , nor willing to help or professional... overpriced for this low 3 star hotel....webite and location quoted very misleading.... would not recommend....
